Dairy-Free cheese sauce


INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup tahini 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons light miso 1/2 – 2/3 cup water

PREPARATION

In a small saucepan, mix tahini, nutritional yeast, lemon juice and miso with a fork or whisk.

Slowly whisk in water until smooth. Use a larger quantity of water for a less strong taste.

Heat on low to medium heat until melted and smooth while whisking.

Serve over pasta, steamed veggies, or use as a dip.
