Popeye’s Power Smoothie

Serves 1

1 cup of almond mylk or your favorite non-dairy mylk
1 large handful of spinach (about 2 cups)
1 apple
3-4 strawberries
2 tsp. chia seeds


Rinse spinach, and place all ingredients except chia seeds into blender until smooth.  Add 3-4 Ice cubes, if a cold shake is desired.  Blend.  Pour into a glass, add chia seeds and stir. The chia seeds will congeal like tapioca. You may also blend the chia seeds into the smoothie with the other ingredients.
