Omega Bliss Porridge

Serves 1


2 Tbsp. chia seeds
1 Tbsp. dried goji berries
1 Tbsp. dried coconut
2 Tbsp. other raw nuts or seeds such as sesame, sunflower, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, brazil nuts, or almonds
1 tsp. cinnamon (sweet) or garam masala (savory)
3/4 - 1 1/2 cups almond mylk or your favorite non-dairy mylk alternative
1 Tbsp. virgin coconut oil
2 Tbsp. ground flax seed
1 Tbsp. ground hemp seed


Place the first four ingredients and 3/4 cup almond mylk in a bowl. Cover and soak at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.  It will thicken.


Slowly add more almond mylk to create a porridge consistency.  Add the coconut oil. Heat on low to medium low heat, stirring frequently, until the porridge is warm to touch, no more than 5 - 8 minutes.


Do not boil as it ruins the omega three fats.  Remove from heat and stir ground flax and hemp seeds.
